Hello, I’m Dave, I’m a freelance Documentary Director who shoot and edits. I have a background in visual communication and my editing experience is built around storytelling. I focus predominantly on motorsport and engineering, where I love the precision and the drive in both.

Finding stories within an activity or topic that might help a business or entertain an audience is what I am best at. Developing strong relationships with contributors and peers helps brings these to life.

I have filmed 2 wheeled machines around the UK and Europe, and also sat in the comfort of my office editing vehicles with more wheels and fewer cylinders for Extreme E.

I love this work, because stories, cameras, sound and lighting offer that ideal sweet spot between artistic thought and practicality application. And the power of a good story is hard to beat.
