About me

Hello, I’m Dave, I’m a freelance camera operator, editor and motion graphics designer, mostly working in and around things that move.

In the last year or so I have filmed motorcycles in Spain, France, Belgium, Ireland, Scotland and England and also sat in the comfort of my office editing vehicles with more wheels and fewer cylinders for Extreme E. Recently I’ve created a logo animation and intro piece for Pistonheads.

I’ve lots of experience in relatively high-stress environments like race tracks and paddocks; I love my job and it goes a small way to making up for the lack of talent I possess as a competitive rider. I love the teamwork involved in racing environments and find that the intensity of it can create strong working bonds quickly.

When I’m not doing any of the above I’ll be out riding a KTM, or trying to fix a KTM, and trying not to get myself in trouble on it.

I am available to shoot, edit or design moving image projects around the UK and abroad; I can help you to turn a project idea into a story piece, whether it’s a short Instagram reel or something more involved.
